Father Milhouse is the leader of those Brethren of the Order of the Guardians who inhabit The Monastery of Lost Souls in Markovia.[1] There they protect the Table of Life from the island's darklord, Dr. Frantisek Markov.[2]

Unfortunately for Father Milhouse, constant exposure to the Table of Life has transformed him and his Brethren into Ancient Dead. Only Father Milhouse remains in pristine condition, and so he handles all interaction with visitors from the world outside the monastery. The other monks are bound by a vow of silence.[1]
