Villebois

Villebois is a small community in Dementlieu with no less than a hundred residents. It also has no inn. Despite its small size, Villebois has a small number of gendarmerie here, led by Marcel Rameau.

Villebois' mayor, Charles de Tantoine, has convinced Villebois' residents that the community is plagued by a series of lycanthropes that originate from people harboring too much emotion. In reality, the string of murders has always been Charles himself- he is a murderous maledictive loup du noir that conceals his activities by pinning the blame on others- primarily strangers to Villebois. Tomas Drekezhnyi, one of the local gendarmerie and secretly a werebear, knows Charles' claims about excessively emotional people and lycanthropy are not true, but his first priority is staying out of the public eye and concealing his lycanthropy.
