The rotund, somewhat fearsome-looking Jean[1] is the former owner, operator, and cook for the Two-Hares Inn, which he named after the Tale of Two-Hares.[2] Jean enjoyed and took pride in his profession. He specialized in cooking rabbit sautéed in a wine sauce, served with stewed makshee and cushaw.[3] Unfortunately, Jean choked on a bone and was consequently reanimated as a zombie by Anton Misroi to serve him as his personal chef.[4] Both the Darklord of Souragne and Larissa Snowmane noted that death and undeath had not taken away any of Jean's skill as a cook.
