Larga Bloodhand is an orog and the leader of an orc tribe known as the Bloodhands on Faerun (of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting). She has waged war against a group of yuan ti near Phlan. Unusual for an orog, Larga demonstrates a high intelligence. For a time, she, her tribe, and the lands around them were imprisoned in the Mists, trapped in Barovia.

History

On Faerun, the yuan ti of Glumpen Swamp launched a series of raids, eventually capturing a third of the Bloodhand Tribe. Larga was captured during a raid to free the captured Bloodhands.[1] Although Gagg Shinbreaker, one of the tribe's shamans, was able to take control in her absence[2], matters were further complicated by the arrival of the Mists, which stole Glumpen Swamp and a good portion of the other land surrounding Phlan.[1] At the behest of Larga's tribe, adventurers liberated her from her captor Vazschyss.[3] After regaining her freedom, Larga vowed to bring together her dispersed tribe and destroy the rest of the yuan ti in the swamp.[4]

Later, Gagg claimed that the Mists were a sign that Gruumsh had become insulted by the Bloodhands and only offering a sacrifice would remove it. Therefore, Gagg suggested that they should sacrifice Sybil Raisa and Ixusaxa Terrorsong. Although a good portion of Gagg's fellow orcs agreed, the suggestion caused a big fight among two of the three tribal shamans. Argument turned to violence, and Gagg struck the arguing shaman dead. For this, Larga exiled him. However, he and a few followers infiltrated the camp under cover of night and kidnapped both of the prisoners.[5] Larga appealed to adventurers for help[6], and they defeated Gagg before he could finish the sacrifice ritual. Sybil and Ixusaxa were saved.[7]

Later, Esmae Amarantha, the culprit responsible for the Mists' many abductions, was defeated by adventurers, and all that had been taken by the Mists in this incident were moved back to the Faerun.[8]
