A supporting character from Death of a Darklord, Gersalius is a wizard and the mentor for Elaine Clairn. For example, he taught her the ability of mind reading.[1]

Background

Gersalius is an outlander[2]. In his youth, he was a thief, going by the handle of Gersalius Catpaw. However, he quit when his mother threatened to slice off his ears.[3] In Kartakass, he helped Elaine, Jonathan Ambrose, and their associates investigate the Zombie Plague of Cortton. He helped Elaine discover and purify the poisoned water supply that doomed those who drank it to rise as zombies[4], and he destroyed the zombie Tereza Ambrose with his fire spells.[5]
