An offshoot of the Order of Scourges, the scourges' guilds got their start with Fadi, a scourge who fled Pharazia after he decided the Way of Diamabel was not the right way. Several of his students and colleagues went with him, and since then they have spread the teachings of the torturer throughout several domains within the Land of Mists, including Nidala, Borca, Richemulot, Paridon, and Souragne. Sans Merci, the guild in Richemulot, is one of the most notable.^[1]
