An Alhoon who lairs deep beneath Mount Grysl. He fled Mount Makab when The Illithid God-Brain took power. For the past two centuries he has hoarded what Yldi'Thaan psitech he can find, hoping to use it against the God-Brain. He would even aid the Yar'Thaaladan against the illithids, but he would remain their ally only until the illithids were defeated.[1]
When interacting with the Yar'Thaaladan beneath Mount Grysl (which he does as rarely as inhumanly possible), Grathelax pretends to be a hermit named Grath. As such, his neighbors refer to his lair as Grath's Hermitage.[1]
