Figurines are miniature animate constructs imbued with life through powerful spells, dark desire, or both. Unlike many other constructs, they possess a modicrum of intelligence. However, they are highly likely to eventually turn on their creators and try to kill them.[1]
The knowledge of how to create figurines was first developed by Jawahar Zhosh, a native of Sri Raji. His death at the hands of his own creations didn't prevent the knowledge of how to create them from spreading.[1]

These animated constructs may easily be mistaken for figurines of wondrous power.
