The nominal chieftain of the goblins at Theg Thekro in Nidala. However, his authority has been usurped by the giant Durvoskar. Derd Phel expects to be violently replaced as chieftain at any moment due to Durvoskar's whim. He actually fears humans less than the giant.[1]
In addition to being chieftain, Derd Phel is also the goblins' historian. His artwork depicting the tribe's history can be found on many walls throughout Theg Thekro.[1]
