As of 724 BC, Captain Garvyn commanded the ship known as the Endurance, which he inherited from his uncle Killian.[1] Later he was cursed by the Dark Powers for dumping overboard the corpses of Madeline Stern, Jacob, and Charlotte Reisland which he had been hired to deliver to Todstein.[2] In consequence, his ship became the Ship of Horrors and remained so until the curse was broken in 737 BC, whereupon the captain and his vessel were returned to the land beyond the Mists whence they had come.[3]
