Ibraq is a small city along the Beni Massat river in Pharazia. It is known for the beautiful blue tiles which its craftsfolk produce.[1]
Ibraq has a history of conflict with the nomads who live nearby. The previous emir was kidnapped and killed by nomads. Perhaps as an attempt to quell such violence, Diamabel appointed Jamal ibn Bishr al-Ghani, who was sheikh of another nomadic family, as the new emir.
