A Chi-Folken mentioned in the article "Little Horrors"[1], Vurik is a bard and Dwimmerlaerer who was in Madego's G'Henna province at the time of the Great Upheaval of 740 BC.
Great Upheaval
Confronted with the appearance of Lupta as a result of the reality of the Demiplane of Dread buckling, Vurik attempted to exorcize what he thought was a Fiend of some sort, only for the Spirits of his people to manifest through Lupta and start to drive back and mend the devastation caused by the Grand Conjunction.
Vurik managed to maintain the connection through hours of drumming before other Chi-Folken took up the music, allowing him to collapse from exhaustion.
While Vurik's current whereabouts and circumstances are not explicitly mentioned, it is safe to say he was celebrated by the Chi-Folken at large and the Church of Lupta in particular for his part in the salvation of Madego.
It is not inconceivable that Vurik has been canonized as a saint of the faith.
