The people of Sri Raji call all weretigers keimi, but it is important to distinguish between lycanthropic weretigers and true keimi. Lycanthropic weretigers are victims of a magical disease which can be passed on to injured victims; in particular, the Stalkers are lycanthropic weretigers. On the other hand, keimi are natural shapechangers, unaffected by the phase of the moon, who pass on their abilities only by genetic inheritance.[1]
