A giomorgo has one parent who is a vistana and another parent who is also human but is not a vistana.

The hunting of vistani is the passion of Malocchio Aderre and there is no evidence that he draws a line at giomorgo ("half-vistani"), including his mother Gabrielle Aderre. No giomorgo is safe within Invidia or near its borders. Others certainly would like to harm half-vistani, drawing little or no distiction between them and full-blooded vistani. In so far as giomorgo can masquerade as full-blooded vistani others dare not directly harm them, such is the fear of the evil eye and the curse that lies in wait on the vistani tongue. In so far as giomorgo can hide their Vistani heritage, they are treated as is any other human. But half-Vistani who are recognised as such by a party knowledgeable enough to know that they are cut from a lesser cloth, may all too easily become the target of decades of amassed rage.
