| Worgs are preternaturally strong, tough, and cunning wolves. They are common in [[Barovia]], and are far from unknown in other lands. [[Goblin|Goblins]] in [[Darkon]] and [[Tepest]] may use them as mounts. The worg is one of at least two species referred to by lay persons in the southern core as [[Barovian wolves]].
