The Midnight Clarion is a secret protocol dating from the founding of the Cult of the Morninglord. It calls for destruction of vampires and the undead generally, and in particular both the gathering of intelligence concerning them and the gathering of the talent necessary to lay them to rest. The protocol is put into effect by the equally secretive Dawnslayers led by Elizabeta Pirosska.
