There are ghosts that can manifest semi-corporeally or even corporeally. They are still ghosts if they are nailed to the ethereal plan and have to manifest. I don't have DoD in front of me to comment right now.[[User:Cure|Cure]] 00:59, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

I consulted both sources, and both seem to be a completely corporeal undead.  no mention of ghosts, ethereal plane, manifesting, or the like.  The only thing to indicate anything ghostly is the name -geist.  My guess:  the writers of DoDread were annoyed by the poor naming of this obviously non-ghostly creature and changed the name to fit better.  Verdict: Same critter.  Not a ghost.  Editing appropriately.  -- [[User:Gonzoron|Gonzoron]] 04:25, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Is it just me or are Valpurleiche and Valpurgeist two different things? This page lists it as a type of ghost, but the Valpurleiche in DoDread is corporeal. Is the -geist incorporeal and the -leiche corporeal? Should this page be split? -- Gonzoron 21:30, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
