The council of Brilliance or Conseil Éclat in High Mordentish is the governing body that advises the Lord-Governor in ruling the nation of Dementlieu. Every Councilor has an area that they focus on such as the arts, defense, industry, social welfare, etc. They are governed by a web of political intrigue. | |||
They meet formally at least once a month in the Palais Dirigeante or Ruling Palace in the Government quarter of Port-a-Lucine. There they handle the business of government, making laws, handling important trials and so forth. They also allow a select few to make requests to the government by the nobility. | |||
