The Twisting denotes the effects caused reality wrinkle of Isolde. Those who remain near her for too long are warped physically. Their bodies shift to evoke their inner personality. The change is not permanent, but it takes much longer to reverse than the time that it has been in effect. Isolde keeps the Twisting in check by force of will. By ceasing this effort and letting the fury of her wrinkle loose, she can create abominations. Isolde deems it to be perfectly appropriate that one's appearance expresses one's true nature..
