Inajira is a fiend. He is an arcanaloth from Hades. He is a collector who deals in souls.

From the fiend an individual receives in this life his or her heart's desires. In exchange the fiend is granted in the existence to follow proprietorship over his or her immortal soul. These contacts are invariably regretted. One does not get the better of Inajira. He is not deceived. Rather it is rather he who deceives. Inajira hates Count Strahd von Zarovch who has, so far, evaded the enforcement of the contract that binds them. Additionally, his Book of Keeping, where his contracts are signed in blood, was destroyed in a confrontation with the lord of Barovia.

Presently, Inajira busies himself with filling the pages of its replacement. The name of the fiend is sometimes recorded as Ijrail or Inraji.
