An epoch is a past ensemble of related events, usually events belonging to a long enduring but now gone political, economic, social, or technology regime. For example there is in Nova Vaasan history the epoch of kings and in Sithican history the epoch of dragons. Equally, there is also the epoch of barter or the epoch of hunter-gathers.
