Torek Wood was a wood haunted by wraiths, which George Weathermay sought to destroy. This haunting caused a magnetic anomaly throughout the woods. Weathermay was able to use the erratic spinning of his compass to find his way to the heart of the woods.[1]

Torek Wood is located in northern Nova Vaasa, west of the Kantora-Bergovitsa road and north of the Three Sisters lakes, but south of the Borchava- Vaughn Dnar rivers. It is rather small as woodlands go. A rotting two-story house stands in the center of the woods, and this haunted structure is the source of the wraiths that dwell in this place.[2]
