Cynthia Herbert was born in 685 BC probably in Mordent. She married Clifford Dilisnya who was a werewolf. she bore him a litter of three in 701 BC. One of their children die in 709 BC. 
It is probable that Clifford's parents, and possible that Clifford himself or Clifford and Cynthia, migrated to Borca in the decades following its formation in 684 BC, drawn by the prospect of being raised to the nobility by Camille Dilisnya or Ivana Boritsi. Clifford and his wife died in 717 BC, inviting the suspicion that the cause was not natural.
