Richard Ratcliff was born in 681 BC. He married Virginia Dilisnya who was a werewolf. She gave birth to a litter of four in 706 BC, among them Winifred Ratcliff and Michael Ratcliff. There were an unspecified number of grandchildren fathered by Michael. 
It is probable that Virginia and her parents, and possible that Virginia alone or Virginia and Richard, migrated to Borca in the decades following its formation in 684 BC, drawn by the prospect of being raised to the nobility by Camille or Ivana. Virginia who died in 723 BC and Richard died in 724 BC, both survived by their children.
