Nevuchar Springs is a small town within the Mistlands at the extreme eastern end of the Darkon built on the site of a series of springs. It was a tranquil and nearly forgotten elven community of consequence for little other reason that lying at the source of the Vuchar River. The town was connected to the rest of Darkon not by the the King's Road but only by small craft on the Vuchar River. This state of affairs pleased Baron Thalis Redtree, its mayor, and his subjects. In 750 BC, the Nocturnal Sea was revealed to the east, within a mile of the town, which was thereby transformed into a port.
