The site is in the Sleeping Beast mountain chain at both its north end and low elevation. The community was founded by the Robin Stillwater's parents, a female elven retired adventurer and her human husband, together with their closest friends. Stillwater Springs is a nearly self-sufficient utopia where harmony between one another and with nature is stressed. Contact with the outside world is kept to absolute minimum and every effort is made to not attract attention to the community. The activities of animal and crop husbandry are not, however, traceless. Whether magic is employed to conceal evidence of the inhabitation of the valley is unclear.
