Silver is a valuable, extremely malleable metal that is subject to tarnishing. It is mined as a commodity. In is also, in many lands and particularly among the middle class of those lands, money, the most easily exchanged commodity, and hence the unit of exchange. There is a concentration of former silver mines in Borca. Silver weapons are invaluable when battling fey, vampires, and werewolves.
