The flail is a tool and a bludgeoning weapon dating to the Bronze Age. It exists as a grain flail, a light flail, a heavy flail, and a dire flail. A light flail is sometimes known as simply a "flail". A crossed flail and staff is the holy symbol of the Cult of Osiris. The flail is the favored weapon of the Church of Zhakata and the light flail is the favored weapon of the clergy of the Cult of Osiris.
