Phillipe Zanango was the founder of the Zanango Society. An indenture servant of the Tarascon Family's estates that escaped out into the swamps, eventually he came upon the Misroi Estate and ran into Anton Misroi himself. Phillipe immediately began to venerate the zombie lord. Over time, Phillipe became wise to the ways of the swamp and gathered around fellow cultists, scoundrels, and other dark souls to form the Zanango Society. Following his death, the society honored Phillipe by naming itself after him.[1]
