The Shrine of the Eye is the central and largest cave located on the western side of Mount Glacis in the domain of Vin'Ejal. The Shrine was first discovered by a mountain climber that would become The Eye of Toldun thanks to Appissa's manipulations. It is here where the Eye first came in mental contact with Appissa and became her prophet and priest.[1]

The Shrine contains an altar covered in diamonds. It had a hidden compartment that formerly held a potion to entrance a potential lover (given by Appissa to the Eye) and the Bone Knife of Appissa (now carried by Benada Nameless. An smaller adjacent cave serves as the lair of Benada (and formerly the residence of the Eye). Deeper in, past conceal passages unknown to even the Eye and Benada, is the prison of Appissa[1], a Yuan-Ti of considerable psionic power. The Shrine and the surrounding underground environs is the limit of her psionic influence.[2] Following Benada's murder of the Eye[3], there is noone Appissa can easily influence in the caverns.[2]

The Shrine is haunted by the ghost of the Eye of Toldun.[2]
