Madame LaFontaine is an alias assumed by Lef Ahmnet, a servant of Ankhtepot. She is a greater mummy who has been dispatched to Port-a-Lucine to kill Abu al Mir. The latter is the werejackal son of parents who led a secret temple of Anubis in joining with Senmet in conspiring against Ankhtepot.[1]
