Cemetery spirits are the spirits of those who have previously tried to destroy Strahd. At night a legion of these undead one hundred strong climb up from the cemetery near the Temple of Barovia and move to Castle Ravenloft, where they fling themselves to their "deaths" off of a tower. They are harmless to the living[1][2]
