The Gaunt[1] are often mistaken for flying ghouls, but they are neither undead nor scavengers. Rather they are a race of bestial humanoid with wings that only resemble ghouls in their appearance and predilection for human flesh. The Gaunt also benefit from much of the Enchantment Spell immunities real undead have, but the Gaunt's senses make it highly averse to light.
