Marcel Guignol is the Lord-Governor of Dementlieu. So far as the public knows he is the aging temporal leader of the land.[1] The truth of the matter is that he is an Obedient controlled by Dominic d'Honaire.[2]
As the most elderly Lord-Governor known in recorded history, the aging Lord-Governor Guignol is of declining health both physically and mentally. For example, he often requires assistance to move about trickier terrain such as stairs.[1]
