The Yearning is a curse said to have afflicted the Holsworth Family of Mordent. It caused them to become compelled to discover some lost isle in the Sea of Sorrows. Once a Holsworth so compelled set out to sea, the unfortunate soul never came back. According to records, the last of the family disappeared in [[543 BC].[1]

The Yearning was said to be the result of the passenger of a Holsworth ship put upon the Holsworth ship captain for keeping him from coming back to see his brider safely.[1]
