Nikko Salazar is a Vistani, the infant son of Raul and Leyla Salazar. His mother died giving birth to him[1], but, thanks to the Violin of Passion[2], Leyla has returned as a ghost to nurse him. Her presence is slowly draining Nikko of life[3], but in her undead state, she does not realize the harm she is doing.[4]
