The Summoning is an annual ritual done by the Cultists of Marikoth at the Temple of Marikoth.[1]
The Summoning's ultimate purpose is to conjure Marikoth. Whereas Dargen Blackborn hopes to summon Marikoth so he can kill him, the only creatures to come through have been hordlings. In reality, summoning Marikoth is impossible.[2]
