The Tyrahgaunt Text
The Tyrahgaunt Text[1] is a Vaasi history of sorcery that was consulted by S in her preparation of the her report on Forlorn for Azalin. In is known to address the origin of the goblyn, maintaining that the archmagi Yrym-Sybarr created the goblyn race from the dust of a stone from the stars and the green clay that lyveth and the stolen essences of slaves and crymynals and ways secret and the formula of Zetter-Roath. Yrym-Sybarr is recorded to have observed upon his success, Y have succeeded at the makying of a new race. Though the race ys only goblyns, they obey my whyms and delyght yn and desyre only wyckedness. The work was penned in an dialect of Draconic that made no use of the letter "I" and from it comes the word "goblyn".
