Fairy Stools
Fairy stools are a species of mushroom native to Tepest. After expose to arcane magic from the conjuration, divination, enchantment or transmutation schools new fairy stools spout in 2d4 hours with a density of 2d8 fairy stools per 10 ft square of exposed area. Existing mushrooms will double in size. A creature that has more than one shape or that is a natural spell caster spending more than 2d4 minutes with within 2 ft. of fairy stools provokes the same reaction. Examples of the former include the vampire, fiends such as the imps, the quasit, the succubus, and the nighthag, all the shadow fey, and all creatures with the shapechanger subtype. Examples of the latter include sorcerers and all creatures with spell like abilities such as the hag, the majority of the fey, and the vast majority of fiends. The Tepestani Inquisition exploits fairy stools in two ways. They look for patches of as evidence of fey activity, of willing fey allied activity, or encorcelment by fey. And they will bring a tray of the mushrooms into the presence of a suspect. 
It is probable that fairy stools are also similarly applied by the Syndicate of Enlightened Citizens.
