Professor Pacali
Professor Pacali was formerly a professor of abnormal physiology at the Brautslava Institute in Darkon. His research interests brought him to the Carnival with the intention of studying its freaks. He soon fell victim to the Twisting, which cursed him to continually spawn the Pickled Punks, and by the time he discovered that its effects are reversible, it was already too late for him. The nature of his twisting did not oblige him to renounce his post at the Brautslave Institute, but he nevertheless appears to have done so, driven by an overwelming sense of embarassment and an obsessive desire to cure the Twisting and extinguish its source.
He currently travels as a member of Carnival, but makes regular trips home to Darkon to birth his Pickled Punks.
