Oats

Oats denote both a type of flowering grass and the grain of this plant. Oats are cultivated in climates too cool and wet for wheat. Its grain and stem are harvested. The grain may be milled into a flour. The grain is used as food, to make beer, and is an important source of fodder. The dried stem is gathered as Straw.
