Grethiyn Graymalk is a githyanki necromancer who was brought to Boston on by the invention of Dr. Julius Earl. After his summoning, Graymalk went on a rampage, killing Dr. Earl and a squad of police called out to deal with him. Soon after he calmed down and began to assimilate himself into society, servants of [[the Red Death (Entity|the Red Death) recruited him into service, and he accepted. This is only a temporary measure for Graymalk, as he intends to turn on his "master" as soon as he finds a way to escape Gothic Earth.[1]
Graymalk has assumed a false identity of Eero Grethiyn, a man from Estonia.[1] He has a lair in a Bostonian mansion that adds to his already considerable powers. Coming from the Astral Plane, he exhibits magical and psionic abilities beyond the capabilities of natives of Gothic Earth.[2] In addition, the Red Death has given him the ability to animate dead by touch.[1]
Graymalk is trying to push Jean-Marc Tessant into recreating Dr. Earl's notes.[1]
