One of the Dementlieuse nobility, Count Wilhelm von Lovenhorst employed Professor Viktor Hazan as a diplomat and also supported his studies of the arcane arts. An important member of the Fraternity of Shadows, the Count eventually brought Hazan into the fold. Hazan's service to the Count ended with the latter's disappearance in 742 BC.[1]
