The Phoenix was a Chaotic Good qabal of Gothic Earth.[1] It seems to have emerged spontaneously in 14th century[2] or 15th century Italy.[3] Some evidence suggests that a a former servant of the Red Death turned benefactor of humanity contributed significantly to the Phoenix's formation. The Phoenix managed to achieve many great ends, such as bringing about the Renaissance before being brought down by various servants of the Red Death. Such servants responsible for the death of the Phoenix include Niccolo Machiavelli.[4]
