Altid Duchy
The Vistin family has as its patriarch Duke Søren Rivtoff. He rules over the Altid Duchy which is pinched between the Heartland Duchy in the east, the Borchava Duchy in the north, the Shadow Rift and Barovia in the west, and the limit of the Volgis watershed in the south. Control over Bergovista is disputed with the Rivtoffs.
The Bolshnik Family owns the Heartland Duchy. It is located in north-central and north-eastern Nova Vaasa. Its northern and western limits are respectively the Darkonese border and the Sea of Sorrows. A line extended from Bergovitsa to the sea marks its southern border. The point of merging of the Borchava River and the Vaughn Dnar River marks its western border. Kantora and Egertus fall then under the sway of the Bolshniks. The Heartland Duchy is the largest and most important duchy in Nova Vaasa.
