The being known only as the Mimic rules over a domain that appears to be merely an abandoned category:ghost town but is in fact infested with mimics and animators. The Mimic was once akin to its kind but tried to ascend to a humanoid shape. The processed failed in a spectacular fashion, as it assumed the form of a fleshy abomination of tentacles and humanoid torsos (as detailed in Pathfinder's Dungeon Denizens Revisited. [1]
