The reekmurk is an aquatic ooze of unusual size mostly encountered in the cold depths of the sea, though earthquakes at the bottom of the ocean can drive reekmurks to the surface.Lakes and rivers in the eep abysses in the underground can also house reekmurks. Above all reekmurks avoid sunlight, for it burns them.

A reekmurk's tentacle delivers both an acid and a poison, and the reekmurk's stench causes nausea.^[1]
