Lord Malkant Hilfin

Once the most renown experts of strategy in his homeland, Lord Malkant Hilfin is now the darklord of a tiny domain consisting of only his house. Before becoming a darklord, Hilfin organized contests of intellect against all challengers once every 8 years. Hilfin's vanity was such that, although he handled victory with grace, he could brook no losses. When it seemed like his nemesis Selmar Callista would beat him, Hilfin made a pact with the Dark Powers to never lose again, in return for Selmar's murder.
