Slenem Delurian and the guild he leads masquerade as a bard and as bards' guild. In truth he is a thief and he heads a thieves' guild. He is at heart honourable. He is, howevr, of doubtful competence as his guild is thoroughly infiltrated by Kargat and Kargatane agents. He is a portly fellow who is a skilled singer and harpist.
