Professor Benjamin Hanlon[1] is a psychiatrist and pathologist who works at the Asylum of Port-a-Lucine in Dementlieu. He has researching a cure for transposition with little indication of true nature of "Mallatia Demoniae" other than the fiendish gaze one of his patients gave him.

Professor Hanlon has a daughter, Emmanuele Hanlon, whom gave him a pair of silver glasses.
